“Jacinda Ardern said NZ could move to alert level 1 next week, which means all social distancing measures and curbs on mass gatherings will be lifted, she said. Maybe play the T20 WC there?”

Earlier on a YouTube channel, Jones admitted that T20 World is not going to happen in Australia this year. Jones said that in the current situation it is not possible to stop players and their staff from 16 teams in a safe environment.

In Australia, the restrictions are very stringent to deal with these situations. Therefore in these circumstances, by hosting the World Cup, the Australia board will not be able to earn a lot of money. In such a situation, he is not looking forward to seeing the T20 World Cup this year.
