Former Indian batsman and batting coach of Kings XI Punjab Wasim Jaffer has trolled Sri Lanka Premier League on Twitter. He has alread gained much popularity on Twitter because of his meme creating skills. Jaffer has become a celebrity memer after his content has gone viral on various platforms.
In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Wasim Jaffer had spoken about his meme creation skills and why he has been doing so.
“I have always had this humorous and witty side to me. And those close to me will vouch for that. I agree that to an outsider these memes might look as surprise but I have always been like this.”
Wasim Jaffer himself admitted that he is a very funny guy and recently, he has been creating memes related to the India vs Australia series. The cricket fans would know that along with the India vs Australia tour, the West Indies vs New Zealand series, and the England vs South Africa series is also underway right now.
Besides, even the Lanka Premier League 2020 is happening in Sri Lanka. Four Indian pace bowlers namely Irfan Pathan, Manpreet Singh Gony, Sudeep Tyagi, and Munaf Patel are also a part of this competition. Andre Russell had blown away the Galle Gladiators bowling attack with a once-in-a-lifetime knock. Also, the likes of Shahid Afridi and Kusal Perera have done well in LPL 2020.
Still, it has not received enough attention from the fans. West Indies vs New Zealand does not have telecast in India. Still, it is gaining traction. Meanwhile, England vs South Africa is available for the Star network. India vs Australia is on the same channel as the Lanka Premier League.
Wasim Jaffer tried to pull Russell Arnold’s leg on Twitter while trolling Sri Lanka premier league with a creative post. Arnold is from Sri Lanka and is currently a commentator for the LPL 2020. Here is his tweet:
