in the second ODI match at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The home team put up a humongous score on the board once again as Steve Smith’s quickfire century powered Australia to a score of 389/4 in 50 overs.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli looked disappointed with his bowlers. Navdeep Saini was so expensive today that Virat had to push Hardik Pandya to bowl some overs in the middle. Still, Pandya did very well and finished with figures of 1/24 in his four overs. 

Talking about the Indian cricket team’s batting performance, Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal got India off to a solid start. But both openers returned to the pavilion soon. Virat Kohli has taken the control of the innings now as he is inching closer to his 71st international century.

Shreyas Iyer built a 97-run partnership with Kohli for the third wicket. During that partnership, there was a surprising moment in the stands of the Sydney Cricket Ground. The viewers of India vs Australia series would know that there are not many COVID-19 restrictions in Australia right now and fans can enjoy the matches live at the stadium without wearing masks. 

An Indian fan took the advantage of this occasion and proposed to his Australian girlfriend. Although the two love birds were supporting different teams, they kissed on the big screen and made their marriage official. Glenn Maxwell enjoyed this particular moment as he clapped for the couple from the field.
