2. Prithvi Shaw – 99 vs Kolkata Knight Riders (2019)
It was the 10th Match of the IPL 2019 in Delhi between the home team Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Prithvi Shaw got out at 99 while his team was chasing the target of 186. He scored 99 runs in just 55 balls with a strike rate of 180.00 with 12 fours and three sixes. Delhi Capitals won this match in a thrilling super over.
3. Chris Gayle – 99 vs Rajasthan Royals (2020)
Playing for the Punjab Kings, the Universal Boss, Chris Gayle, ran out of luck and got dismissed at 99 against Rajasthan Royals. Jofra Archer bowled him, and Punjab Kings scored 185. Rajasthan Royals easily chased down in the 18th over only.
4. Ishan Kishan – 99 vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (2020)
In the 10th match of IPL 2020, Ishan Kishan playing for Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore was dismissed on the 2nd last ball of the game when he was at the score of 99, and Mumbai Indians needed five runs to win the game. Royal Challengers Bangalore won this match in super over.
5. Ruturaj Gaikwad – 99 vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (2022)
CSK’s opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad became the fifth and latest player to get dismissed on the score of 99. In the 46th match of IPL 2022, CSK batted first, and Gaikwad smashed SRH’s bowler all over the park before Natrajan dismissed him on 99. CSK scored 202/2 and also won the match by 13 runs.
