Young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has named former India captain MS Dhoni as his mentor and said that Dhoni helps him a lot when he has any problems.
Rishabh Pant said,
“Dhoni has been like a mentor to me on and off the field. I can talk to him openly about any problem. However, he never tells me the complete solution to the problem.” He added, “This is because I am not completely dependent on him. He only gives me a hint that helps me solve the problem. He is one of my favorite batsmen, although it is not that which Happens often. “

Pant told,
“If Mahi Bhai is at the crease, then you know things are right. He has a plan in mind, and you just need to follow him!” Pant, who considered Adam Gilchrist and Dhoni as role models, also emphasized the importance of identifying oneself.

Pant has played 13 Tests, 16 ODIs, and 27 T20s in his career. Pant, remembering his early days, said that
he used to catch a bus to come to Delhi at 2 am. During this time, he also named the senior players who have helped Pant in h is career. It includes Virat, Rohit, Dhawan, Dhoni, Yuvraj, and Raina.
