Bangladesh wins against India at Delhi

Yesterday the Indian team lost its first-ever match in T20I against Bangladesh at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Talking about the match India was under the pressure from the beginning only. Losing wickets on intervals was the main reason that India couldn’t post a big total against Bangladesh.

Indian team scored 148 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 6 wickets. For the Indian National Cricket team, Shikhar Dhawan was the highest run-scorer. He scored 41 runs but that too came in 42 balls.

Coming up on Bangladesh inning, they made started with a good intention and didn’t lose the momentum and kept making the partnerships. Mushfiqur Rahim played a marvelous inning and led the team from the front. He scored 60 runs in his inning only in 43 balls.

Yesterday it was not a good day for Rohit Sharma as the captain of the Indian National Cricket Team as they lost. But Rohit Sharma named two big records on his name and overtakes MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

Yesterday after playing the first T20I match against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma became the most capped player for Indian National Cricket Team in T20Is. He overtakes the former captain of Indian National Cricket Team MS Dhoni. Rohit Sharma now has appeared in 99 matches leaving behind MS Dhoni who has appeared in 98 T20Is matches.

After achieving the record of Most T20I appearance for the Indian National Cricket team, Rohit Sharma leaves behind the current captain of Indian National Cricket Team Virat Kohli in most runs in International runs in T20s. Virat Kohli is not playing this series so it was a big opportunity for Rohit Sharma to takeover.

Virat Kohli has 2450 runs in T20Is in 72 matches and now Rohit Sharma leaves behind him after his 9 runs in the first match against Bangladesh. Now Rohit Sharma is ahead of Virat Kohli with just 2 runs. Rohit Sharm now has 2452 runs on his names.
