Mzansi Super League’s second edition is underway in South Africa. During the 8th match between Jozi Stars vs Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, pace bowler of Nelson Mandela Bay Giants Junior Dala dismissed the opening batsman of Jozi Stars Chris Gayle by a perfect yorker.
Chris Gayle scored only 6 runs in 11 balls. Other players of Jozi Stars also let down the team. The whole team was bundled out for just 108 in 18.5 overs without even playing the complete 20 overs.
For Nelson Mandela Bay Giants Junior Dala and Imran Tahir shared 3-3 wickets. And in batting Jason Roy (31 of 12 balls), Ben Dunk (50* of 30 balls) and JJ Smuts (23* of 14 balls) chased down the target in just 9.1 overs.
Talking about the incident it all happened on the last ball of the 4th over. A perfect pinch point yorker from Junior Dala uprooted the stumps of Chris Gayle. The Universal Boss Chris Gayle has no answer to that unplayable delivery.
For his bowling figure of 4-0-19-3, the Junior Dala was also won the Man of the Match award.
