The Indian cricket team defeated the England team 3–1 in the Test series and secured a place in the ICC World Test Championship final. Now India will compete with New Zealand to win the title called World Cup of this Test.

On Monday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sourav Ganguly, revealed the venue of the final. He told who will get the responsibility of hosting this match to be played between India and New Zealand.

It was already awaited before the Test series between India and England. In the series, Team India had to win the series by a margin of two matches and India achieved this success by winning three matches in a row.

“Yeah, it is in Southampton. It was decided long time ago. Due to COVID and they [in Southampton] have the hotel absolutely close. When England resumed play after COVID, they had a lot of matches in Southampton due to the same reason,”
