
The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest Test rankings on Wednesday. Rohit Sharma reached the best ranking of his career at number 10 with a 722 rating. He has become the only third Indian to make the top-10 in the rankings of all three formats of cricket at the same time. Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have done so before.
Rohit recently made his debut as an opener in a three-Test series against South Africa. He scored his first double century and two centuries in the series. Rohit scored a total of 529 runs and for this, he gained 12 places in the ranking. At the moment, Rohit is ranked second in ODIs with 863 ratings and in T20 at number 7 with 664 points.
Ajinkya Rahane at No.5

At the same time, Ajinkya Rahane also reached his best number 5 in ICC test Rankings. Ajinkya Rahane scored 216 runs in this Test series against South Africa. Rahane also hit a century of 116 runs in the Ranchi Test.
Australia’s Steve Smith remains at number one with 937 points. Whereas Virat Kohl’s rating decreased from 936 points to 926 points but he still holds the number two position. Cheteshwar Pujara also holds the fourth position with 795 ratings.
Mayank reached number 18

The second-highest run-scorer of the series after Rohit Sharma Mayank Agarwal scored 340 runs. Mayank also scored his maiden double century in the first Test at Visakhapatnam. With this, he also scored a century at Pune in the 2nd Test. Which benefited him in the rankings and he reached number 18.
Shami and Umesh at their best ranking

Among bowlers, Mohammed Shami moved up one place to number 14, while Umesh Yadav is now in the 21st position. This is the best ranking of these two.
