The most-awaited IPL 2020 auction has finally come to an end. While Australia pacer Pat Cummins became the most expensive foreign player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kolkata Knight Riders bought Cummins with a whopping 15.50 Crore.

His Australia teammate, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who took an indefinite break from International Cricket due to mental health issues, returned to Kings XI Punjab for Rs 10.75 crore after bidding tussle with Delhi Capitals. However, Maxwell has recently returned to action with Melbourne Stars in Big Bash League. A total of 62 players were sold and Rs 140.30 crore was spent in the auction.

On the other hand, West Indies opener Evin Lewis, pacer Kesrick Williams, Indian Test players duo of Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari, Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa and veteran New Zealand opener Martin Guptill was among the renowned players who were unsold in the IPL 2020 auction.
