The second T20I match between India and New Zealand ended in a happy manner for the Indian fans as the Men in Blue took a 2-0 lead in the 5-match series with a resounding 7-wicket win in the 2nd T20 international. Earlier in the series, Virat Kohli and co. had won the high-scoring run fest but today the Indian bowlers ensured that New Zealand does not score many runs. The Kiwis elected to bat first after the toss ended in Kane Williamson's favor. Martin Guptill and Colin Munro got the home side off to a flier before Shardul Thakur dismissed the right-handed batsman on the final ball of the powerplay. About the Match As mentioned ahead, New Zealand could only post 132 runs on the scoreboard despite winning the toss and batting first in a small ground.
