Auckland: In T20 cricket, Team India (Indian Cricket Team) continued the excellent form and defeated New Zealand in the second T20 match played in Auckland. Team India won the match by 7 wickets to take a 2–0 lead in the 5 match T20 series.

Talking about the match, New Zealand decided to bat first after winning the toss, but the Indian team, bowling brilliantly, stopped the hosts for 132 runs. Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets for just 18 runs in 4 overs. Bumrah took 1 wicket for 21 runs in 4 overs. Shivam Dubey took 1 wicket for 16 runs in his name. Shardul Thakur got 1 wicket.

After this, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer smashed New Zealand with the bat. KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 57 and Shreyas Iyer scored 44 not out. KL Rahul also won the man of the match award for his match-winning knock.
