Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh believes India is the favorite team to win the next T20l World Cup which will be organized in India in 2021. After winning the T20l series against Australia by 2-1 the former spinner believes that the current Indian team is one of the most complete T20l teams in the world.
With the tournament like cash-rich league (IPL) it has given ample opportunities to many youngsters to play alongside world-class players and get to know about playing in pressure situations.
Harbhajan Singh in a discussion with India Today said,
“Yes most definitely, India is the favorite team for the World Cup. I feel that the kind of players we have got, they play in the IPL with stars and learn very quickly and adapt to the situation better than the others. That’s what makes them better players,” Harbhajan Singh said.
“Under high pressure, they have done really well for their respective teams in the IPL. It’s a positive sign for team India. At the moment, India is probably the strongest T20I side in world cricket, no matter where they are playing,” he further added

The veteran spinner also appraised the player like Hardik Pandya to come out from the tournament like IPL and turn into an ideal all-rounder for team India. Pandya’s hitting abilities need no discussion which makes him one of the most exciting talents in limited overs cricket.
There are quite a few genuine pinch-hitters in the world but Hardik Pandya stands above the rest even the player like Andree Russell is way behind him in terms of pinch-hitting abilities. On this Harbhajan Singh said,
“He always had the talent. We knew he could hit big sixes. But now he has been playing consistently, he has got the idea of staying there and finishing the game. Confidence is building every day. He is someone who is a proper finisher for Team India. Hardik is as good as Russell, maybe better than, I would say. He is hitting sixes at will,” Harbhajan Singh said
