2nd test match at Pune has ended and Team India again proved why they are No. 1 Test team in this world. Team India gets a big win against South Africa at Pune. They clinched the match by 137 runs and an Inning and also gets an unassailable lead of 2-0 in 3 match series. The remaining test match will be played at Ranchi starting from 19th October.

Indian captain Virat Kohli winning the toss opted to bat first. India batting first scored a mammoth score on the scoreboard. For India, Mayank Aggrawal scored a ton (108) followed by the Indian captain Virat Kohli scoring his 7th double hundred in test cricket. Virat Kohli scored his highest individual score in test format. Fifty from Pujara (58), Rahane (59) and Jadeja (91) put Team India in a very good position. Virat Kohli declared the inning after the fall of wicket of Jadeja at 601.
Trailing India’s 601 South Africa’s start was not as good as required. Both opener Dean Elger and Aiden Markram get out on just 0 and 6 respectively. South Africa needed a solid partnership after losing openers only at 13. In the first inning, South Africa got all out only for just 275 and India took a lead of 336 runs. With a big lead of 336 runs, Virat Kohli enforced follow-on to South Africa.
On day 4 start South Africa came to bat again with a big trail of 336 runs. South Africa’s start was not good like the first inning. They kept losing wickets and Team India folded South Africa just for 189 runs. India win by 136 runs and an Inning created a big record.
Team India wins 11th consecutive test series at home. Team India surpassed the highest streak of wining of Australia who holds the streak of 10 series win.
